Holidays started about a week ago. Feeling pretty much the same, except that I don't have to travel to somewhat feels like the other end of Singapore everyday now. (:

Spent the first part of the hols doing dreaded PW. Our GPP's finally done and I'm crossing all my fingers and toes, hoping that Ms Ng will FINALLY accept it tmr.

Had more chances of 'family time' these few days, and I'm loving it! Didn't occur to me how much I'm missing out on all these family times since I started JC. Korkor seems really busy with his army stuffs too, chatted with him yesterday and I realised that I haven't really talked much to him in ages! Nevertheless, it was always good sharing stuffs with him. I baked Betty Crocker's brownies, and my brother-the-pig ate like 3/4 of it in one day!!

Thursday was the Soccer girls study day. Met up in school with the Year 1s. Went for a run at ECP. Bathed, lunched and studied in a classroom in a CIRCLE! Studied, nap, studied, snacked-pretty boring. But I could do so much more there, than I did at home. That few hours of studying was even more than what I did altogether ever since the hols started. Looks like I need to get down to some serious work (after OBS that is XD) Played small-sided game, with Coach and NipNip. It was hella lot of fun! All the more so when most left and we played 4v4, everyone started missing balls. Okay I admit, it was mostly me. We had so many hilarious moments, just kept laughing and playing a fool. And missing balls! Hahaha.

Went out with Shir today! I miss seeing that baby!! But that dusty child's sick today, really sick. TAKE GOOD CARE DEAR! And do not train pleasee. Wait till you're well okayyy! Watched Narnia and had dinner together. Narnia was good, and as usual, the battle scenes were the highlights.
Ahem. I'm really thankful for such a selfless friend like her. Despite being sick and resting at home after school, she came out to meet me. Despite not watching Narnia 1 before, she still watched Narnia 2 with me. Such a sweet dusty child! I wish you Shir all the best in recovering so you can CAPSIZE all you like!!! (: Love you loads!

Off to drink my 'strawcolate' milk now! That milk, I'd say, is L-O-V-E ##

Today was the OVA (Old Victorians Association) 6 aside soccer tournament and the soccer girls were helping out and getting CIP hours. The sun was crazily hot and Bing's and my job was to go up and down the grandstand like a gazillion times, collecting the scores for each game and recording them. Climbed the grandstand until my knees hurt. Shoots. I really think I'm going to be knee-handicap the moment I turn 50. Eeeks. We were entitled to free food, icecream, drinks, jelly wheeee, and fun with the soccer ball. But we had to do saikang too like carry tables and chairs, pick up rubbish poooh. We were all so tired and chouchou!!

Went to Jiemin's house for Soccer BBQ! I love all these Soccer bonding sessions, they are so ultra fun all the time, especially with coach and his witty comments all over. The theme of the night was Lele because of all the bbq-ed chicken wings and hotdogs (at least for the 1st batch only) hahaha! Jiemin's house is soooo cool! It is bigg and I love all her gigantic windows and her courtyard thingy! After dinner, headed to the opposite CC for soccer and basketball. Another round of fun-ness. How I wished time would stop there and let that moment last forever. I always feel super happy whenever I'm with the soccer girls.





Contrast to PW tomorrow. Note that I like my PW group now, but I just dislike PW, especially so when our group is the only one that KEEPS GETTING OUR GPP REJECTED ARRRGHHH!! How awfully irritating. We gotta change our whole entire idea and start from scratch again. GEEE what kinda shit is this man. ):

Most of the sports season have come to an end, I think the InfoComm's video on all the school's highlights was soooo darn good, they really do the BEST videos. (: Good job!

And sooo....The Face Of The Year 2008 is .... (drumroll)

KUAN REN aka KAREN LOMBARDI!!! Our very own VJSG Captain!!! We were saying how her T3 achievements can be solely Soccer and FOTY! (: CONGRATS KAREN!!!

Soccer Photoshoot in the morning was pretty fun. Jiemin's fabulouso idea of doing all the movements of a KICK (: Team lunch at PP, followed by BBQ shopping for the J1s. It was a really funny affair, with some of us trying to get Bethany to juggle everything, from guavas to mangos, apples to eggs, and finally lemons, going all over the supermarket just to find a less prominent spot in case the NTUC people sees us playing with her LEMONS!

Played floorball with the soccer peeps in the afternoon. It was truly a blast. My first time playing floorball (hahaha damn sad damn sad) but it was awesomee!!! I never knew floorball could be soooo much fun. 4 teams played, so we were all in the Semi finals and finals, even went on to extra time and penalties when there was a draw. Hah!

Fetched mummy from the airport, visited Yiyi. She looked, well normal but just pretty tired. I was so shock and sad when I first heard the news last week, about that dreadful big C. Why must such a thing fall on her, the super nice and generous and kindhearted and funny aunt whom we all love dearly. It is really saddening. )': Anyway, when we visited her, WenChyi and I found 2 birds in garden which didn't seem able to fly out of the house. One was a baby which could hardly fly, so we caught it and decided to rear it until its bigger, otherwise it will be eaten by the big black cat! Eeeks. I never thought that I could catch a bird with my bare hands!! So exciting. But owells I guess this is not really counted because its a baby and it didn't really fly much, and its so small and CUTE!!! XD

We've been having loads of Half Days (: Yesterday was Soccer Boys Finals. A tough fight against MJC and we got 1st runner up. There seemed to be many injuiries. My classmate said he has a concussion. OH noo!

VJ Band concert with a super japalung group of people-soccer friend, ij clique, friend and friend. Somehow we are all linked in one way or another. It was a total rush just before the concert at Esplanade, the ushers were rushing us in, threatening to close the door. Deposited our dinner with the flowers. Felt so warm and tired and sian when we went in. But the concert was rather good, just that I think even after 4 years of supporting Za and Money, I still don't really know how to appreciate Band music. Still, I must say some songs are really really awesome, like the Macchu Picchu one with the cute little birdies. WELL DONE MONEY, ZA AND THE WHOLE VJ BAND!!! Majestia was a SUCCESS! :D

Supported the Hockey Girls Finals at Delta today. Yay we won!!! Congrats girls! This is super girl power, but soccer girls, tennis girls and now hockey girls are all coming back with the gold! (: The boys are doing well too! Probably guys standards are much much harder gee. Met up with so many IJ people at Delta, those who went SA. Like GREEN EGGS AND HAM, oh I miss you so dear 105-more-stops-buuus-partner, NutFart, Erica, Marissa. Saw Gabriel too, when he went to support RJ for the Boys Finals. So goood seeing all of those familiar faces again! OOOhhhh I'm feeling super excited now.

OH BOY I know tomorrow is going to be a FULL DAY! I can feel it in my bones! Okay not quite, but everyone kinda confirmed it already, even some teachers. Unless that guy suddenly decides to change his mind oh booo. I WANT TO CELEBRATE IJ FOUNDER'S DAY!!! Sing the French Father Barre song once more, have mass in the IJ hall, all the never ending 'PEACE WITH YOU' Hugs and singing of hymms hymms and more hymms! I am super tempted to just the letter 'P' tomorrow for my beloved IJ! Raaawwrrr.

Anyway, I can't believe I did this yesterday. I slept and woke up at 3am to watch the Champion League on computer because I don't have cable and I didn't want to go downstairs alone. I like to watch soccer, but I was never a diehard/hardcore soccer fanatic. Woke up in the middle of the night to do such things before, but that was with my brother, he will be the one waking me up. But yesterday, I don't know why, I really really wanted to watch that match. And sooo glad that MANCHESTER UNITED won!!! They won with penalties after extra time of 1-1. Watching online is so funny, it is about 1 minute lagger than the TV one, so during penalties, I could hear downstairs people at the coffeeshop cheering and before they kicked, I know that it was a goal. Hahaha, kinda spoiler but still, somewhat amusing! XD

SLV today at a Childrens Home in Serangoon Gardens. Played free style games with the kids. The guys are forever so hyper, 'cept for some emo ones. The girls seemed to have tonnes of problems that Weiting became their 'counsellor'. Played with them for like 3 hours out in the hot sun, they burned us out until we were tired, but they could still go on. Guess its the wonder of kids, their bursting energy. Anyway I'm in for deeeep shittzxo! Napfa's tomorrow and here I am wasting my health away with 2 cups of yoghurt icecream (for a good cause-the quake victims?!?!) and ChompChomp with the usual S62 gang. Imagine ChompChomp all the OILZ & FATZ O-M-G! All the months of 'fasting' from fried food and fast food just went down the drain. The horrors of food, but owells, I felt super full and satisfied after that, so I guess, whatever makes me happy! Heehee (:

Met up with Bing Amelia and Mel today. Studied at Ti Amo, with the TV showing motorbike racing, LooneyTunes and random cartoons, how distracting. We did a piece of art work after eating the sinful cheesefries! (: Such artistic talents we have here, with ketchup and chilli sauce.Went to Braddell Heights CC to kick around. Saw four other guys kicking around too, so we asked them if they wanna play a game. And so thats how I played my first game of street soccer with a bunch of strangers. Played guys vs girls at first, and it wasn't that fun because its so obvious that they kept giving way to us. Bleah. So we played mix teams, and they had a rule that only girls can shoot, haha. It became much more fun because now we dare to tackle our own friends for the ball. So funfunfun!

Though the day wasn't that productive in terms of studying, heheh, but it sure was fun playing futsal, under the extremely hot sun, gee thought I got a bit burnt. XD

Soccer gathering today, as coach said, to help the seniors ease off into the 'post-season' life. Gathered at Sneha's house ALLLL the way at the other end of Singapore-Simei. Her condo is absolute PINK man, Yixiu's favourite! Hahaha. Her dream house is a PINK castle with PINK walls and PINK curtains too-unspoken quotes from her. XD

Watched DVD-CHAK DE INDIA (GO INDIA). I never knew Indian movies were so interesting! All the tamil words coming out from their mouth have bursts of English in them. It was a hockey show and even at the sad/solemn part, suddenly have hyper Indian music in the background, makes you wanna shake your head to the rhythm.

Sneha's mum's cooking rocks man! The food was soo good, we all went for 2nd and 3rd helpings. The orange thingy was darn nice too. Ame and Mel baked cookies for us!!! (: Here we are stuffing ourselves with banned food the moment season is over. Don't forget that Nafa isn't over yet for me! ):

Played Taboo afterwards. Rounds of SENIOR vs JUNIOR, ATTACKERS vs DEFENDERS, EAST-TERNERS vs REST-TERNERS and jersey number ODD vs EVEN. It was really fun, with coach and lele around, there was never a moment of boredom. Every second someone is being teased or made fun of, or coach mimicking someone, or bob singing the Chak De India song.

More of these sort of soccer fun pleaseeee, especially now that we will see less of the wonderful seniors. Its amazing how close we all are already, even though we have only known them for like 4 months plus if you exclude PAE period where we hardly trained with them. But I think they are like one of the best seniors I ever will have. (:

I "The P Word" the later part of school today for IJ Fiesta. Went down with the IJ people and Bing, met up with the rest! (: IJ Fiesta wasn't that happening, it wasn't spectacular. But the thrilling part was seeing all my dearest juniors again, and some teachers whom I didn't get to see yesterday, like WengWeng Lau Shuuuu and Basketball Mr Jiow with his cute kid. Met up with old classmates friends too. It was pretty interesting, though we didn't get to eat anything ):

Bing and I then went down to Jalan Bersar Stadium again to support the guys soccer semis against ACJC. We won 4-1 and are through to the Finals! Oh Yay Wheee. Classmate Chester Lum scored with a nice header! Awesome one dude!

Followed Shane to St Nicks to collect her Os cert (finally!) and got to explore the school. OOh its so huge compared to VJ and IJ. They have nice ice tea and a big track with colourful walls all around. Pretty (:

So today was a rather busy exciting day. She came to my school and I went to her school, haha. Interesting! More fun tomorrow with the soccer girls :D

I am so darn happy, nothing can take that smile away from my face. Yesterday was plain awesome. Can't stop thinking about football the whole morning, released early to rest and eat, bus ride to JBS, watched RJC vs MJC for 3rd/4th placing, checking out the locker room, all the sweetnotes from the Trackers, Soccer Boys and the School. Warming up at the sides with the music so synchronised (Dick said we look like we were warming up to the beat of the music XD), changing up, running onto the pitch for our circle warmup. The crowd when crazy. The whole entire experience was just so amazing. Its pretty funny how we can choose to zone out what we wanna hear, just like how coach told us to.

The match was sooo exciting! By half time, SA scored 1 goal. We responded, by 2nd half, we equalised it with Wanxin's header !!! They were cramping up like crazy (looks like Shane's and my 'woooo cramp cramp cramp' thing works XP). Went into 10 minutes of extra time, still 1-1. Went into penalties. Both sets of 5 penalties were scored. Sudden death. Our great hero JoansiePoansie saved the ball kicked by SA, and Wanxin scored for us. Everyone was stunned before the post reaction took place. We sprinted onto the field and tears of joy, jumps of joy, all of joy!!! :D

The whole thing seems so surreal to me. It seems like just a while ago that coach was telling us how many weeks left to season, and just like that BAM, season's over. Got our Gold medals, got it BACK! Karen Lombardi was named MVP-MOST VALUABLE PLAYER once again. VJ's support was just AWESOME to the max. Next thing up on the to-do-list is to get Karen Lombardi to be FOTY! (face of the year) :)

Ended off the season with a lift of our foodban, had KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN for dinner! WHOA WHOA WHOA! How many months have we gone by without the taste of fried food/soft drinks ooooh.

Match support today. Volleyball girls at ToaPayoh sports hall. I'm sorry to say that despite going there, I did not manage to watch at all because Evil I and Jaime sneaked back to IJ. OH how much we missed IJ. In fact, we missed it like crazy, started screaming and ooh-ing ahh-ing at everything there the moment we stepped in. Nostalgic feelings. Collected our O level certs, and visited teachers and classmates. Fooled the teachers and friends that the coloured ties we were wearing is part of the VJ uniform. HHH. Headed to Delta next with the soccer girls to watch Hockey match. We won 2-0. (: Yay Go Joansie! XD

Semi-finals last Wednesday. VJC vs RJC, 3-0 (: We're in the finals! Coming Wednesday. Lots of emotions right now, mainly excited. I heard that the whole school is coming down! Coolbeans. Jalan Bersar is gonna be so darn packed to the max. XD

Thursday was ultra ultra cool and funfunfunfun! Coach bluffed us that we have trng at ECP, but then again he told us not to bring our boots but bring our bags instead. Which is weird 'cause we never do that. We were 'kidnapped' by Nat the Little to a ulu part of ECP. Coach scammed us, told us we are going to do ACCUPUNCTURE for recovery session. O.M.G. Neeeeedles. ): Arrived at the place and he told us JUST KIIIIDING! We are playing 18-HOLE MINI GOLF@LILLIPUTT! :D Awesome, it was super cool. Never played golf before and that whole thing excited me big time. Farah and coach were the 'cher' and they are collegues! Haha. Group-ed with Nat the Pro, Nyny and Joansie the cousins and Yixiu the Pau. We were so goood at it, we came in TOP FIVE! (insiders XD) That was really a fun session, a good break from life now, with all the SPAZZ SPAs and Terrible Tests, Annoying Assignments Bleary Blah.

Today's dedicated specially to all the mummies in the world. HAPPY MAMA'S DAY to my dearest one napping on the couch. I LOVE MY MUMMY, no matter what I say or complain about the things she's done, about her scoldings and naggings.
